Chapter 10: Your daily and weekly ArbiSource routine
The sellers who get the most from ArbiSource use it a little every day rather than a lot once a week. Price Drops last 48 hours and Vault and scan results are deleted after 7 days, so a short daily habit finds more than an occasional marathon. This page gives you one routine to follow, built from the tools in the chapters before it.
While you're learning, allow an hour or two a day: checking leads properly takes longer at first. Once you know your filters and the Lead Check, the core routine below takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
Before you start: a one-off set-up
- Your Global Filters are broad enough to show results (Chapter 8), saved as a Filter Set.
- A Keepa custom button is on your result panels (Chapter 3).
- Auto refresh is on for your Sourcing List: click the refresh icon (Enable Auto Refresh; it shows Disable Auto Refresh once it's on).
- If you use SellerAmp, your SAS Key is connected (Chapter 16).
The daily routine (about 20 to 30 minutes)
- Start with Price Drops, ideally in the morning (Pro and Premium). ArbiSource checks retailers' clearance sections every morning, so the best drops often appear early. Filter by Discount %, sort by Most Recent, and look at UNMATCHED too if you have time (Chapter 5).
- Then open the Vault. Pick a store or an Amazon category you haven't looked at recently, or search a brand you're ungated in. Sort by what matters to you today.
- Clear out what you can't sell. Run CHECK RESTRICTIONS with Remove results I can't sell on (Pro and Premium), or use the CHECK button on each promising result (Essentials) (Chapter 9).
- Add anything promising to your Sourcing List. Don't judge everything on the spot; aim for a handful of good candidates.
- Queue a scan or two. Start a Store Scan on a retailer with a sale, a discount code or a clearance section you haven't scanned this week, and check Email me when scan is complete. Check the Coupons page for newsletter promos that can start a scan for you (Chapter 6).
- Work through the Lead Check on the best of your Sourcing List: open the Keepa button, and the SAS button if you use SellerAmp. Decide Buy, Test-buy, Watch or Pass (Chapter 20).
- Act on the decisions. Buy and Test-buy at the retailer (check the live price first). For Watch leads, set an alert (Pro and Premium) so ArbiSource tells you when the price is right (Chapter 5). Remove the Passes.
- Glance at Replenishables with Show Low Stock Only on, and reorder anything running low (Pro and Premium).
When yesterday's scans have finished, look at their results first thing the next day before they're 7 days old.

The weekly routine (about 20 minutes)
Pick a fixed day.
- Open Completed Scans and Re-Run Scan on any that found good leads last week.
- On your Sourcing List, run CHECK RESTRICTIONS again on older saves, delete leads that have gone stale, and export the list if you keep records offline (exports from Pro).
- Remove any alerts that no longer matter.
- If you've had a Restriction Tracker email, filter Ungated by ArbiSource and Currently ungated for brands with profitable results and open them in the Vault (Chapter 9).
- Try one sourcing method you haven't used yet, such as a storefront scan, a Category Scan or a reverse search of your own storefront (Chapter 17).
- Review your filters. If you keep passing on the same kind of result, tighten the matching filter. If you're seeing very little, loosen one.
Your Amazon weekly check (Account Health, shipments, returns and aged stock) is in Chapter 40.
Make it a habit
- Same time each day. Mornings suit Price Drops.
- Keep a short purchase log so you can see what's working (Downloads).
- If a VA helps you, give them steps 1 to 4 and keep the buying decisions yourself to start with (Chapter 19).

- I clear out restricted products before reviewing leads
