How this handbook works
-
New to selling on Amazon? Start with Part 1: Getting Set Up and work through it in order. It covers your business set-up and opening your Amazon seller account before you touch ArbiSource.
-
Already have an Amazon.co.uk seller account? Skip the Amazon set-up (Chapters 1–3) and go straight to the ArbiSource guides:
- 4.1 Choosing your ArbiSource plan
- 4.2 Signing up and connecting Amazon
- 4.3 Settings that make the numbers right
- 4.4 Your first look at the Vault
Just check you're on Amazon's Professional plan first (why).
-
Want to get going today? Follow the one-page Quick Start.
Two speeds
The handbook is built in two layers.
- The Quick Start. One page, written as a checklist, that gets you from sign-up to your first lead in a day. It tells you what to do and links to the chapter that explains why.
- The chapters. The full library, grouped into nine Parts. Each chapter covers one topic in depth, with worked examples and links to the right ArbiSource feature.
Use whichever suits you. Neither layer assumes you've read the other.
How each chapter is laid out
Most chapters follow the same pattern, so you always know where to look:
- What you'll learn: a short summary at the top.
- The explanation: the topic in plain English, with examples in pounds.
- In ArbiSource: where the topic shows up in the app and how to use it.
- Videos: short clips from ArbiSource and our partners at SellerAmp, Flips4Miles and Fields of Profit.
- Checklist: the actions to take before you move on.
About the videos
Some videos come from ArbiSource's own channel. Others come from our partners at SellerAmp, including Miles (Flips4Miles) and Warner (Fields of Profit), who use ArbiSource in their own businesses.
Most partner videos are recorded on the US version of ArbiSource with US retailers and dollar prices. We include them because they show the tool clearly. The buttons, filters and workflows are the same in the UK version. Where the UK is different (prices in pounds, VAT, UK retailers, UK fees), the text beside the video tells you what changes.
A few of ArbiSource's own older videos show an earlier version of the interface. The features work the same way, but the screens look a little different. We're re-recording these, and we say so wherever an older video appears.
Words and numbers
- Prices for ArbiSource and Amazon plans are shown excluding VAT, the way both companies quote them, unless we say otherwise.
- Amazon's fees change from time to time. When we quote a fee, we link to the official Seller Central page or rate card. If the live page shows something different, the live page wins.
- Tax: we keep it light, with just enough about VAT to make your profit figures right. Tax returns, schemes and record-keeping rules are your accountant's job, and we recommend having one from the start.
- Jargon is explained when it first appears and collected in the Glossary.
What this handbook covers, and what it doesn't
Covered: buying from UK retailers and selling on Amazon.co.uk through FBA, using ArbiSource to find and check products. This includes online arbitrage (OA), retail arbitrage (RA), Amazon-to-Amazon flips (A2A) and wholesale.
Not covered: selling on Amazon's European marketplaces (Germany, France and so on), Canada or Mexico, and private label (creating your own brand). ArbiSource supports the UK and US marketplaces only. The UK handbook does include one page on buying from Amazon's EU sites to sell in the UK (A2A EU sourcing), because that's still UK selling.
Getting help
- Inside ArbiSource: the in-app welcome guide tours every feature with video guides (you're taken there when you first join, and can return any time). More short videos are in Guides & Tips on the Help page (Help is at the bottom of the sidebar).
- Email: support@arbisource.com. Write from the email address your ArbiSource account uses, and include a screenshot if something looks wrong. That lets the team find your account and fix the problem on the first reply.
- Community: the ArbiSource Discord, where sellers swap tips. A link is inside the app.
ArbiSource is self-serve software, so there are no one-to-one onboarding calls. This handbook is designed to do that job instead, and you can work through it at your own pace.
