Chapter 31: Training a VA on ArbiSource
This chapter covers what to hand a VA first, how seats work, and a simple SOP so someone else can run scans and first-pass Lead Checks without guessing.
What to delegate first
Start with work that follows a clear checklist:
- Running scans you already designed (Store, Category, or saved Custom Scans).
- First-pass triage: Check Restrictions, sort by deal score, skip obvious mismatches.
- Draft Lead Checks on a shortlist, which you review before anyone buys.
- Later: listing admin, shipment creation, or purchase-log updates.
Keep buying decisions and brand judgement with you until you trust the process.
Seats and access
Standard plans allow one person logged in at a time. If a VA logs in with your details, you'll be logged out.
For two people working at once, ask support for a Custom Plan with extra seats. Each person gets their own login; they share the scan queue, alerts and replenishables. Email support@arbisource.com. Details are in Part 9.
Don't share your Amazon Seller Central password. Use Amazon's approved user permissions if they need Seller Central access.
A simple ArbiSource SOP
Give your VA a one-page brief:
| Step | Instruction |
|---|---|
| 1 | Choose the saved Filter Set named … from the Filter Set dropdown |
| 2 | Run Check Restrictions; remove what we can't sell |
| 3 | Sort by deal score; open the top N results |
| 4 | Fill the Lead Check sheet (Match, Money, Momentum, Safety) |
| 5 | Tag Buy / Test-buy / Watch / Pass; add Watch and Buy candidates to the Sourcing List |
| 6 | Stop: don't place orders unless the brief says so |
Add your minimum profit, ROI and any brand or category rules. Point them at Chapters 13, 19 and 22 of this handbook, and at the in-app welcome guide for button-by-button tours.

Checklist
- I've written minimums and brand rules in one place
- The VA has their own seat if we need to work at the same time
- Buying still needs my say-so until the SOP is proven
