Chapter 30: Scaling
Once a few Test-buys have worked, the next step is a steadier operation: replenishing what works, adding sourcing routes, and keeping prep and cash under control.
Grow what already works
The cheapest growth is repeating winners:
- Mark proven products as Replenishables in ArbiSource (from the Pro plan). Use the bell (Edit Stock Alert) to set stock alerts, and compare the retailers that sell them side by side.
- Keep a short list of brands and categories that pass your Lead Check often.
- Raise quantity only when sales history and your share of demand support it (Chapter 8). Bigger orders tie up more cash for longer.
Add sourcing routes when you're ready
Once the Lead Check feels natural, widen the funnel one route at a time:
| Route | When it helps | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Price Drops and Category Scans | More leads with less manual browsing | Pro |
| Restriction Tracker | Opens brands as your account matures | Pro |
| A2A and Business A2A | Gaps between Amazon offers | Premium |
| A2A EU | EU Amazon offers into the UK (import duties apply) | Premium |
| Wholesale scans | Supplier price lists at scale | Pro |
| Custom Scans / extension | Retailers outside the built-in list | Premium |
You don't need every route. Master one, then add the next.
Prep, shipping and partners
As volume rises:
- Batch prep days, or hand labelling and bagging to a prep centre (Chapter 26).
- Keep box rules non-negotiable: 23 kg, 63.5 cm, Team Lift over 15 kg.
- Revisit inbound shipping cost in your Fixed Cost / profit settings so estimates stay honest.
Cash and risk
- Don't spend your next payout before it clears.
- Cap how much sits in slow movers; aged-inventory surcharges punish forgotten stock (Chapter 5.2).
- Keep Account Health comfortably Healthy before you scale hard (Chapter 23).
Checklist
- My winners are on Replenishables with stock alerts set
- I'm adding at most one new sourcing route at a time
- Prep capacity and cash buffer match the order size I'm placing
